Billie Joe Armstrong - January 2003


This well-known singer for Green Day got popped in Berkeley, California when he was pulled over in his black BMW drop-top for speeding. He blew a .18 on the breathalyzer, the legal limit being .08, and was arrested, being charged with drunk driving. He was 30 years old at the time.


Glen Campbell - November 2003


The Arizona resident was arrested for drunk driving and hit & run charges after the 67-year-old plowed his BMW into another car and left the scene. Mr. Campbell, after being arrested, then proceeded to knee an officer in the thigh, racking up an assault charge. He served 10 days for his crimes.




Nick Carter - March 2005


California cops pulled the 25-year-old singer over for a minor traffic violation and was determined to be under the influence after questioning. Mr. Carter subsequently failed a field sobriety test and spent a few hours in Huntington Beach City Jail.




Derrick Coleman - July 2002


Michigan police picked up this former NBA All-Star for drunk-driving, as you can tell, he wasn't have a great day and the arrest made it all even better.


Mel Gibson - July 2006

While cruising the Pacific Coast Highway drinking out of what was described as a "chalice", Mel was picked up for drunk-driving. During the arrest, Mr. Gibson was said to have made a number of remarks ranging from calling one of the female offices "sugar-tits" and making derogatory comments similar to "Jews are the cause of all wars". Mel has since renigged on his anti-semite comments which, needless to say, have caused an uproar across the US.



Wynonna Judd - November 2003


Following a routine traffic stop, Nashville cops detected the smell of booze on the 39-year-old performer. She blew a .175 on the breathalyzer test, being twice the Tennessee limit.



Chris Klein - February 2005


The 26-year-old "American Pie" star was booked on two misdeanors in San Diego, each charge carrying a maximum sentence of 6 months. He was pulled over in his 2003 BMW and was reported to have a blood alcohol content of .20, which is twice the California limit





Steve McNair- May 2003


This quarterback all-star was stopped after his SUV was seen swerving through downtown Nashville. He blew a .18 on the breathalyzer test and was found in possession of a 9mm pistol, which is illegal to carry while intoxicated.



Steve McQueen - Sometime in 1972


The star of many films, including "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Great Escape" was convicted in absentia (meaning "in absence" since he didn't show up for court), after being busted in Anchorage Alaska for drunk-driving.





Nick Nolte - September 2002


Pulled over by California Highway Patrol, charged with driving under the influence. As you can see, he was a real happy camper. Judging by his hair, I would assume he was pulled over doing 120 MPH with the top down on his Mercedes...





Ozzy Osbourne - May 1984


Ozzy himself was nabbed in Memphis for public intoxication, according to police reports Ozzy was "staggering drunk on Beale Street".




Scottie Pippen - April 1999


Basketball star Scottie Pippen, who was playing for the Houston Rockets at the time, was pulled over by Houston police for using an oncoming lane to pass cars stopped at a red light. Mr. Pippen failed field sobreity tests, but refused to a take a breathalyzer. Fortunately for him, county prosecutors later dismissed the charges.





Robert Richie (a.k.a. Kid Rock) - February 2005


After a night of drinking in a local strip club, Kid Rock was arrested by Nashville police after getting into a fight with the club's DJ. This was Kid Rock's 3rd time posing for the police camera, being previously arrest in March of 1991 and September of 1997.




Mike Tyson - December 2004


After leaving the Pussycat Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, the inebriated boxer jumped on the hood of a fellow patron's 99' Toyota Solara and proceeded to yell at him. Mike caused approximately $1500 in damage to the vehicle and was only charged with criminal damage.



Vince Vaughn - April 2001


Arrested by North Carolina cops for his part in a brawl outside of a New Hanover County bar, during which fellow actor, Steve Buscemi was stabbed several times. Charges against Vince were dropped several months later after a "no contest" plea.
